Human Club cell protein(CC16、CC10、子宮珠蛋白、尿蛋白1或克拉拉細胞分泌)是分泌珠蛋白家族的成員,是非連接的分泌產物。細支氣管Clara細胞,它的功能還有待充分闡明,但令人信服的數據表明其作為免疫調節劑和抗炎劑的作用。Club cell protein抑製磷脂酶A2活性以及幹擾素γ信號傳導和Th1與Th2淋巴細胞調節。血清、血漿和支氣管肺泡灌洗液中的Clara細胞蛋白濃度測定。    


自1994年以來在眾多研究中使用的洗液。在血清中,它的增加與年齡和石棉、氯化氮和臭氧暴露。更高水平的CC16在結節病、肺纖維化和高PEEP通氣患者。血清減少在吸煙者和慢性病患者的肺切除術後發現CC16水平。阻塞性肺病、哮喘或二氧化矽暴露。患此病的胎兒羊水中也發現CC16濃度降低。各種機製引起的肺發育不良(膈疝、糖尿病)嗜好、特納和唐氏綜合征)。在胸腔積液中,CC16濃度出現。與肺中CC16高水平的擴散有關。胸膜充血。基於以上報道,Club cell protein可能是肺部疾病和損傷有前景的診斷標誌物。
